FULCRUM’s GECOB21 project has been classified by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce as a Business-Generating Project in the IT Area, under the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development in Technological Innovation.

FULCRUM has led a consortium formed by companies and public bodies, including Aidico, ESI (the European Software Institute), Provincial Government of Bizkaia, Ferrovial-Agromán and Mesurex, together with other agents such as software development firms, technology centres, quality inspection laboratories and specialists in real-time environmental management systems.
GECOB21 is a Web-based application which offers a flexible answer to the storage, organization, standardisation and management needs of all the information generated in any type of work, allowing it to be published and queried before, during and after it is executed.
GECOB21, therefore, is a solution designed for all agents in the value chain of the site area, and for the different stages it runs through: Public administration, Civil and Construction Engineering. The application focuses on processes involved in the following areas, proposing different solutions and tools: Document management, Environmental Management, Mobile Devices, Quality Control, Economic Analysis and Planning.
