The River Huerva flows into the River Ebro in the city of Zaragoza, crossing the right bank and running past some of its most iconic sites. The Masterplan establishes a strategic and unitary view of the river and includes landscape, hydrological and master planning criteria. It involves studies and solutions for discharges, analysis of the natural ecosystem, proposals for transport intermodal plazas, urban regeneration and mobility improvement in order to turn the river and its banks into the major north-south axis and a blue-green way of linking the city to the riverside villages.
