The pelota court of “La Esperanza” is affected by the construction of line 3 of the Bilbao Metropolitan Railway, so this project is designed to replace the affected sports infrastructure and to integrate it in the railway station of Casco Viejo.
In the project, the replacement of the pelota court is proposed to be made with a new building over the “Casco Viejo” station of the Bilbao Metropolitan Railway. The new building is designed to be 600m2 and 13 metres high. It can accommodate nearly 200 seated spectators.
