We performed two contracts for this line in a short period of time and in consecutive stretches with common design speed of 220km/h. In the first contract “detailed design of Cariñena – Muel” we developed the detailed design for renovation and straightening of the route of an 18.32 km stretch that included  key features such as numerous overpasses, underpasses and drainage culverts, as well as platform renewal at Longares and Muel stations, and the loop and stub siding in Muel station.

In the second contract “site supervision of Muel-Zaragoza”, this 16.3 km long stretch (7 km of route variation and 9.3 km of deck improvement) runs through the municipalities of Mozota, Botorrita, María de Huerva and Zaragoza and included the site supervision of the new Cuarte de Huerva station, adaptation of the station at María de Huerva and the halts at Botorrita and Cadrete.
