This detailed design contract covers section 2 of the Cardel-Poza Rica highway, Nautla- Gutiérrez Zamora stretch with a total of 55 km in length, that is designed with A2 type cross section, considering a future widening to A4 type.
We provided study of several alternatives and engineering design to a Contractor. Project speed is 110 Km/h. Key features include 11 bridges, 11 underpasses and 5 overpasses. As more challenged structures, we designed the bridges over the Nautla and Tecolutla Rivers, with more than 250 m in length, to accept the crossing of a flow of 10.000 m3/s.
