The enlargement of the A-68 highway covers an 88-km long section between Fuentes de Ebro and Valdealgorfa running parallel to the 120.00 and 208.00 KP of the current N-232 conventional road “Vinaroz-Santander”.
During the planning and feasibility studies, a multi-criterion analysis was made in order to globally assess 4 different route corridors and key restrictions related to geology and soil studies, climatology and hydrology, social and economic factors, traffic and demand capacities, environmental restrictions, alignment, earth works, structures and cross-section types, among others. To reach the most appropriate route, we also performed engineering design services that allowed us, jointly with our client, to select the best solution.
