The Arcosur new district consists of a 435 hectare urban development that is forecast to have a population of 75,000 when completed. This district is strategically located close to the Municipal Exhibition Centre, the logistic platform hub called PLAZA and the airport.

The technical data of the project are quite impressive due to its key infrastructures that include a 45 km road network distributed in 90 streets, 20 km of bicycle lanes, 78 km of water supply, 45 km of rainwater, 35 km for the sewage, 37 km of pipes for the irrigation, supply tanks with a capacity of 20,000 m3, irrigation pools of 9,000 m3 and a 16 km network of pneumatic MSW collection for the municipal solid waste disposal. The concept for this new suburb also highlights several environmental solutions that will provide the citizens with extensive blue and green areas, including immersive lakes of 180,000 m3 and sports facilities such as an 18-hole municipal golf course.
