Toril- Río Tiétar High Speed Rail

We provided detailed design services of this 10.7 km section, designed with double track in UIC gauge, for mixed passenger and goods traffic with a design speed of 300 km/h and 100 km/h respectively.

The primary conditioning factor is environmental, since the line runs through an area of great ecological value next to the Monfragüe Natural Park. Key technical features include a pergola over the EX‐A1 motorway, three viaducts (the longest of which is the bridge over the River Tiétar, 302 m in length), two overpasses and six underpasses. The project includes four decks for rail installations and replacement of affected roads and services.
